Sevaldsen Bakery opens a new bakery in Ålesund Norway


Three years ago Sevaldsen bakery bought Baker Kjersem and now they have moved the production to a brand new site of 3400m 2.
Together with our distributor Horni Baketeknikk in Oslo we were given the trust to install two new Glimek bread line systems and also a complete set up of mixers. The bakers are very pleased with the possibility of using brand new equipment and the nice working conditions given by the new facilities and the new plant.

Gulfood - Dubai



Dubai was once again the host for the Middle East's largest food show, Gulfood. Glimek was of course attending Gulfood with displays of our equipment and our Area Sales Manager, Robert Wall, met both existing and new customers. Gulfood this year attracted a wide range of attendees, not only from the Gulf region, but also many from Asia and Africa. Glimek has seen good growth in the region over the last few years and is committed to expanding our customer base there.

New Product Catalogue

During the winter we have been working on a revised Glimek product catalogue.

In the beginning of the catalogue you can find a quick guide to our different Bread Lines.
We also present Glimek Bakery Solutions, our new organization for the sales of industrial projects. We will during this year launch a Bread Line with the capacity of 4.500 pcs/hr. The new dough divider SD600 will be the flagship of this line.
We have developed a user friendly touch-screen for the industrial mixer SM161/241. The touch screen will enable four different speed settings and is presented in the new product catalogue.
